Bio

Chris is a graduate of the University of British Columbia (B.Sc. in honors Geology, 1997), and he worked with the Homestake Mining Company from 1995 through 1998 exploring and evaluating properties around Eskay Creek, across Northwestern B.C.; and spent 7 months working in Chile mapping and evaluating properties around Copiapo and Patagonia.

For the past 10 years he has worked with leading Internet, online advertising & enterprise software companies in sales & marketing positions, and has been a top performing salesperson by strategically consulting with his clients to deliver real value.

Chris’ involvement with online communities, e-learning, and creation of social networks began in 1995 when, as an honors geology student, he began working as a faculty assistant to help create some of the first online courses offered at UBC.

Over the past 10 years, Chris has worked as an account executive, web designer, online community manager and e-learning software trainer for a number of tech companies, including WebCT, Silicon Chalk, Wimba & Intrinsyc Software.

In January 2007, Chris discovered the perfect avenue for his passions with Internet technologies, market branding, communication and education when he joined CareerBuilder, learned about employment branding and the impact it has on companies today.

Since then, he has been focused on consistently delivering creative and successful recruitment advertising programs for his clients, which include some of the largest healthcare, technology, retail, banking, recruitment process outsoucing, and engineering organizations in western Canada.

A strategic sales professional for over 7 years, Chris works to deliver unanticipated solutions to his clients’ after questioning and understanding their business; then sharing his insight from 15 years experience engaging with -and studying, social networks, search engine optimization, recruitment trends and new technologies.
